Using ultra-precision machining, we offer the option to manufacture optical and microstructured modules at the very highest level of quality. We use diamond tools to achieve optical surfaces and extremely high form accuracies in one process step. Through the use of 5-axis milling systems even complex shapes and components can be manufactured in the highest quality.
Production of high-precision mold inserts in optical quality, manufacturing of metal optics, and direct machining of plastic optics
To achieve this, two 5-axis ultra-precision machines are available (a Precitech Freeform 700A and the Kugler Micromaster) that enable lathing and milling. In addition to manufacturing the components, a large selection of measuring systems is also available for measuring and characterizing the manufactured parts.
Thanks to our extensive experience in the area of precision machining, as well as close collaboration with machine manufacturers, we make it possible for you to manufacture components and die inserts in the highest quality. In projects with companies and in publicly-funded research projects, we manufacture metal optics and microstructured die inserts that are used in optics, measuring technology, microfluidics, and medical technology applications.
