Sensor-based systems for the recording and analysis of motor symptoms in Parkinson's (SENSEPARK)
The project consortium has developed the functional model of a sensor system for the measurement and classification of motor disease symptoms in Parkinson's, which does not affect the daily life of the patient.
The project consortium has developed the functional model of a sensor system for the measurement and classification of motor disease symptoms in Parkinson's, which does not affect the daily life of the patient. The system enables the use of up to four independent sensor units on the arms, legs and hips of a patient. The integrated sensor fusion algorithms facilitate the continuous monitoring and automated classification of motor disease symptoms such as tremors, hypokinesia, dyskinesia, sleep, gait and balance. In addition to the sensor-based analysis, the SENSE-PARK system contains a range of games and tests for the measurement of cognitive disease aspects.
