Dermagnostix wins concept phase of the Science4Life Venture Cup
Hahn-Schickard employee and Dermagnostix founder Dr.-Ing. Katharina Dormanns and her team rely on novel patented molecular tests, which will be fully automated with Hahn-Schickard's microfluidic analysis platform "LabDisk" and serve the rapid differentiation of skin diseases.
Despite travel restrictions due to the tightened Corona measures, the Academy Days could be held - the twenty selected founder teams joined in a virtual room instead of meeting at the Hessian state representation in Berlin.
"A big thank you for the smooth organization. We are very pleased about the award for our business concept and that with Dermagnostix we will be able to provide an innovative solution in the form of molecular dermatological tests", said Katharina Dormanns after the award ceremony.
During the Academy Days, the founders are prepared for their start-up in various workshops, business coaching or individual media training sessions. Science4Life e.V. is a start-up initiative that organizes an annual business plan competition with a clear focus on the life sciences, chemicals and energy sectors.
