Reliability assessment

We use FEM simulations as well as experimental reliability tests to estimate the lifespan of products and thus to meet the ever increasing operating conditions.

Through development-accompanying modeling and numerical simulation, reliability risks are recognized early in the development phase. Reliable material data and failure models as well as accompanying experimental environmental tests are necessary to reliably evaluate the simulation results of assemblies and assembly and connection technologies with regard to their stress limit and service life. The coupling of FEM simulation / process simulation, mechanical / thermal testing and environmental simulation allows reliable statements to be made about mechanical / thermal loads, material behavior, material failure, service life and causes of failure.
