Mediator Probe PCR enables the detection of DNA sequences, short sequence segments and SNPs in singleplex and multiplex format. The DNA detection by mediator probes is separated from the signal generation by a fluorogenic universal reporter - this creates high flexibility in assay design. This patented technology is particularly suitable for very challenging DNA markers that differ only slightly or are present in very low concentrations in a sample.
