Pressure sensors

Sensors for measuring pressure can be implemented simply by soldering on a membrane together with the electronics on a printed circuit board.

We develop pressure sensors for monitoring leaks on compressed air equipment and for application in the chemicals industry and food industry, or for use as fill level sensors in the application area of “white goods” (household appliances). Pressure is measured capacitively and can be read out with a number of commercially available electronics solutions. Our pressure sensors can be configured for all types of different applications and are cost-efficient even at low production runs. We handle the complete development process from design up to the transfer to series production and the qualification of sensors according to ISO standards. On top of that, we offer a flexible adjustment of the sensor properties to customer-specific requirements and a very precise measurement and calibration of sensors using in-house technology.

Pressure sensors – From planning up to series production

We are extensively equipped with measurement and testing technologies and set up custom-tailored laboratory test rigs for special measuring tasks.  We have the right tools for numerical simulation and optimization of your products. For the production of sensors, we are able to access a large portfolio of in-house production and packaging techniques, such as silicon technology, micro die casting and various molded interconnect device (MID) techniques. Powerful systems are available for testing and characterizing the reliability of sensors.

Pressure sensors for specific applications

The housings and membranes can consist of different materials depending on the application area and, if required, can also be coated to implement media-resistant pressure sensors for aggressive media. Pressure is measured capacitively and can be read out with a number of commercially available electronics solutions.
