Production of silicon components - Hahn-Schickard offers an ideal production environment for microsystems technology in its own clean room. With our systems and processes, we already manufacture in quantities ranging from single chips to small series.
We make it possible to manufacture silicon chips in serial production in quantities between 200,000 and 2 million per year (depending on the complexity of the component). With this method, we manufacture thermal volume flow sensors, acceleration sensors and fluid components for our customers (to name just a few). For large chip manufacturers in the MEMS sector, Hahn-Schickard bridges the gap to mass production. Here, on-going manufacture of quantities of just one to only a few hundred components per year is perfectly possible. These very small series cover the often particular needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
Production of microsystems
To ensure production capacity for the developed processes, close cooperation with our customers takes top priority as early as initial component development. All processes from development on through to series production are executed in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
Product-specific extensions of the quality standard have already been established in the past for customers in the medical technology, automotive and aerospace industries.
All technological processes for silicon micromechanics are provided in our clean room as qualified standard processes. This standardization ensures that the processes developed in our facilities can be scaled in larger volumes without any troubles.
