After the design phase is concluded, a first tool is manufactured on a silicone basis, materials are defined in concordance with your ideas and first functional models are produced by hot embossing. Low costs thanks to tools made from silicone
On Hahn-Schickard‘s custom-made hot press (Wickert Maschinenbau GmbH) precise and robust process development can be conducted due to finely adjustable parameters. This flexibility allows the hot embossing of complex microstructures in a large range of thermoplasts with a cost-efficient silicone-based tool to minimize the costs for your proof-of-concept.
