We support you in fabricating a plastic component, functionalizing it, and manufacturing it in series production
Extensive know-how is important for implementing components in plastic. We support you over the entire process, starting with the appropriate layout of components and material selection on through to simulation-supported design and the manufacturing of an injection die. Finally, we offer the possibility to manufacture components in small-scale series production and, if required, to transfer the technology for large-scale production.
Our technologies for the molding of microcomponents, encapsulation of electronic components, or for functional microintegration are the foundation of many application areas – including MID technologies, microfluidics, micro-optics, and medical technology, as well as sensors and actuators. There is no other material that can be implemented as universally as plastic. In this regard we work with thermoplastics as well as thermosets and adapt the processes to your specific requirements.
If you want to equip your components with additional functions, we offer possibilities for laser structuring, metallizing and placement with micro-electronic components as well as film-insert molding and encapsulation of components. Thus at Hahn-Schickard complete systems can be manufactured in-house. We are certified in accordance with DIN ISO 9001:2015.
