EU Network for Competitive Electronics Industries

The project „5E“ underpins digitisation and supports specifically the electronics industry in seizing opportunities.

The project „5E“ underpins digitisation and supports specifically the electronics industry in seizing opportunities. This will be achieved by developing a joint vision based on the state of play and focussing on collaboration and cross-fertilisation between main stakeholders from industry, academia, associations, clusters, Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) etc.
Dedicated workshops will define coordinated long-term visions and strategies for the whole of the European electronics industry, taking into account especially:

• Micro- and Nano-electronics (“More Moore” and “More than Moore”)
• Electronic Smart Systems (e.g. IOT, CPS, SSI)
• Flexible and Wearable Electronics

A standardised taxonomy and technology and application related meta-roadmaps will be elaborated.
The partners in this EU-funded project will be supported by an Industry Board and further 25 Associated Partners. Hahn-Schickard will focus on the selection and first approach of possibly new partners and on the organisation of the workshops.
