One more floor

Start of the building extension of the Hahn-Schickard institute in Stuttgart.

After an elaborate planning phase, the building works for third floor has now started. The institute will continue to operate normally, while the third floor will be added in a lightweight construction. The additional office space will create space for new jobs at the Stuttgart location.

Prof. André Zimmermann, director of the Hahn-Schickard Stuttgart institute: “We have grown continuously in recent years. With the new floor, we are creating the space needed to successfully continue this trend."

The construction works are funded with 2.8 million Euros by the regional Ministry of Economics, Labor and Housing Baden-Württemberg.

Completion is scheduled for autumn 2020.
