Consul General of Slovenia visits Hahn-Schickard
The Consul General of Slovenia, Ms. Maša Šiftar, informs herself about the perspectives of cooperation with application-oriented, industry-related research institutions in Baden-Württemberg.
Germany has been a strategic, political and economic partner of Slovenia for more than 30 years. Multifaceted relations exist at the federal and state level. For example, there has already been close cooperation between Hahn-Schickard and Slovenian partners within the framework of the EU-funded project "Key enabling technologies for clean production" (KET4CP).
In order to further intensify the relationship between Slovenia and the state of Baden-Württemberg, research institutions from Baden-Württemberg are to support the start-up scene in Slovenia with their technological know-how in the future. For this purpose, Consul General Maša Šiftar and Honorary Consul Matthias Karl visited the Hahn-Schickard site in Stuttgart. The visit was initiated by Ms Anke Fellmann, Managing Director of the Innovation Alliance Baden-Württemberg (innBW). The meeting focused on the research priorities of the application-oriented innBW institutes and technology transfer to industry.
The response to this meeting was positive throughout, opening up the opportunity for further joint activities.
