Cell-populated microfluidic system for in-vitro reproduction of a blood capillary

In cooperation with Professor Margareta Müller (Furtwangen University), we are developing cell-based in vitro test systems and organ models for studying diseases and as a platform for medication screening. For this purpose, we have designed 3D biohybrid systems which are used to colonize, co-cultivate, and analyze different cell types on the chip. read more

Brain probes

For neuroscientific purposes, togehter with European partners we have developed silicon needles for measuring brainwaves. The needles have already been successfully tested in neurological research. more
